The Bill (Reg. No.3353) was elaborated to take anti-recessionary measures aimed at stabilization of the situation in the agricultural sector.
The Bill introduces amendments to the Law "On the Rates of Export Duty on the Seeds of certain Types of Oil-bearing Crops", according to which, export of sunflower seeds, ground or non-ground, is exempt from export duty till 1 September 2009.
The Bill also amends the Law "On Immediate Measures to be taken to prevent Negative Consequences of Financial Crisis, and Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine", extending the areas where the funds of the Stabilization fund should be used:
rendering of financial aid to the banks with due account taken of prolonged loans granted to the agricultural enterprises;
financial interventions at the organized agrarian market due to the objects of public price regulation.
